Permalink APRIL 2012 - 4/12 Ed Blammo - Low Balling The Dream DIRECT DOWNLOAD (right-click, save-as) Low Balling The Dream is the 4th installment in my 12 Months, 12 Mixes series.  It’s a subtle trip filled with airy melodies, international rhythms, and smooth grooves.  I can’t really put a finger on the theme, but trust that you’ll catch the vibe after you get a few tracks deep. I’m walking a very fine line here between mellow vibes and serious dancefloor action, most likely due to the fact that the majority of this was recorded live on May 1st during the early set at my Draw Straws party at Silk City. I went back and polished the mix a bit because of some technical kinks I was working out with the club’s system. I have a feeling that Low Balling The Dream is going to get some serious summer rotation, on my system, and hopefully yours too! Permalink MARCH 2012 - 3/12 Ed Blammo - Purple Flowers DIRECT DOWNLOAD (right-click, save-as) Purple Flowers is the third installment in my 12 Months, 12 Mixes series featuring rap, dubstep, new school beats, and indie r&b tracks. This is definitely some late night music right here.  Everything rides around the 70 beats per minute range, lots of funky dubstep, trillwave, smoked out r&b, and trap anthems.
